2023 @ BODAS Connect A short reflection

As the year 2023 comes to a close, it's time for BODAS Connect to reflect on what has been achieved and what the future holds. The past year has been transformative, marked by growth and innovation. BODAS Connect continued to push forward and achieve significant milestones. In this year-end review, we take a closer look at those achievements and milestones, and share what’s ahead in early 2024.

Product News

• Universal Flasher: to flash any ECU* over the air
  • FOTA any UDS-based ECU in a machine via BODAS Connect.
  • OEMs & partners can bring proprietary flash algorithm for any ECU and integrate it into the RCU, while protecting their IP.
  • *ECU pre-requisites: UDS-conform & known flash algorithm

• Parametrization over the Air for RC40
  
  • Calibrate machines with RC40 over the Air
  • Just upload complete BXML file via the Device Portal
  • Further improvements and additional functionalities planned 2024

• Simplified Onboarding for setting up new RCUs: say goodbye to USB Sticks and Email ping pong.
  • All new RCUs now come with centrally handled certificates, which are updated over the air upon connection. So no more Emails to Support Team asking for certificate files.
  • All new RCUs can update their configuration online via the Device Portal. So no more USB sticks (except in some special cases)
  • Data Portal has simplified setting up & customization dashboards & includes an instruction manual under "User Documentation" within each project/cloud instance

•  myBODAS as the new central platform for all things BODAS: get all your information anytime online
  • Uses same login as other BODAS Connect portal, i.e. the SingleKeyID.
  • All new updates and release notes shall now be centrally published under Release Notes.
  • Get all updates directly into your inbox by subscribing to the "BODAS Connect" label.
